Hello AP, I was just curious as to whether you might have an Irish connection somewhere what with your last name being 'McDonough'? Thanks Ann Patrice.
My Dad is Irish.

Are you concerned about the fact that one of your competitors has the same lp music as you?
Actually there are three senior ladies that have the same Swan Lake music as me. It doesn't bother me at all,...it is a very good piece of music

Everyone at the Apex center noticed your absence from the Senior Ladies competition this past Colorado Championships...why did you not attend?
I had just gotten my new programs and I arrived in Colorado Springs the day of the short program.

Your dresses are beautiful. I have heard over the years that your mom designs them. Is this true?
yes, thank you

Hey AP! Congrats on such an awesome season so far, I can't wait to see you at Nationals! Well anyways, I was wondering if you designed your Sparctus dress. It's GORGEOUS! I love the sleves, and the skirt line, and the sequins (as usual!). I know this will be one awesome program and I give props to you and your mom for such a fantastic dress!!
Thank you, my mom designs all my dresses.

What kind of skates do you have?
Klingbeil

Hey AP! I was just wondering what you think of your programs and how did you decide to skate to "Swan Lake" and "Sparctus". I love these two pieces of music and I think they would make a lovely program.
My Mom wanted me to skate to Swan Lake and my Choreographer decided that he like Spartacus for my sp.

I really like your practice outfits. I would like to know who make them--i heard your mother made them. Will she make for other people?
` thank you, my mom does make all my dresses, yes she does make dresses for many people, including ryan bradley, evan lysacek, and many others.

I don't know but my grandmother and a lot of cousins live in St. Louis , Missouri.

love the way you skate - you're so elegant. i have a question for ya, tho. im 15 and i never skated before. i wanna start to learn is it too late??
No, it is never too late. You should really try to learn if you really want to.

What stretches do you reccomend for the donut spin, especially for the arms. Also, what advice can you give on centering, your spins could be centered perfectly around a dime!
Mostly, back and shoulder stretches, at first your shoulder may hurt a little, but you'll get it, and centering spins mostly requires balance on the right part of your blade.

All I ask of you by Barbara Streisand.

What is your daily training schedule like?
